Job Description

Rate of Pay: Starting at $14 per hour

 Previous kitchen experience
 High school diploma or GED
 Valid food handler’s card
 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
 Ability to stand for extended periods of time
 Effective communication skills
 Excellent organizational skills
 Ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs
 Professional appearance in a clean uniform
Duties
 Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards,
and food preparation checklist.
 Cook food and prepare top-quality menu items in a timely manner
 Test foods to ensure proper preparation and temperature
 Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
 Ensure the proper sanitation and cleanliness of surfaces and storage containers
 Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, disciplining, and coaching employees
 Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
 Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, report maintenance needs,
accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
